Winning Queen and Ambassador to be announced at Beef Week Ball

Heidi McClure is representing the Droughtmaster breed this year at Casino Beef Week. She is proud to call the region home and has been involved in the beef and cattle industry her entire life. Growing up on a cane farm, Heidi developed a strong appreciation for agriculture and rural life from a young age.

Now working full-time in the yards at Casino Food Company, Heidi has gained a deep respect for the dedication and hard work that underpin the local beef industry. She has always been passionate about agriculture, was Lismore Showgirl in 2023, and has long enjoyed the atmosphere of Beef Week events since childhood. 

Heidi is proudly supported by RDO Equipment Lismore, Droughtmaster Stud Breeding Society and Tilly Clothing.

Sky-Maree Oldham is representing the Angus breed this year at Casino Beef Week. 

She is eager to become more involved in her local area and is looking forward to the opportunity to learn more about the beef industry through her involvement in the event. 

Having grown up attending local shows in the hack ring and participating in pony club, her passion for agriculture and country life has long been part of her life. She currently works as a traffic controller with East Coast Traffic and enjoys riding her horse, competing successfully at a high level. 

Sky has previously been awarded Junior Showgirl titles in both Lismore and Alstonville and was inspired by previous Beef Week entrants to take part herself.  

Sky is proudly supported by East Coast Traffic Control, Figland Brahman Stud, Smith Plant, Try Organics and Hentschel Pest Management.  

Reyanna Rankin is representing the Brahman breed this year at Casino Beef Week.

She is proud to call the Richmond Valley home, with strong family roots in Casino and a long-standing connection to the local community, shaped by generations of family involvement. Growing up and living in various places around Australia has also given her the ability to adapt easily and connect with people from all walks of life.

She is currently an apprentice in civil construction with Richmond Valley Council, where she is gaining practical experience and insight into regional development and community support.

Reyanna also represents the Northern Rivers EPL netball team, engaging with the wider region through sport and community involvement and valuing the teamwork and friendships it brings.

Kate Hepburn is representing the Speckle Park breed this year as part of Casino Beef Week. 

She has been involved in the cattle industry from a young age, growing up showing cattle at agricultural shows and developing a strong interest in agriculture and breed development. 

She established her own Speckle Park stud in 2020 and is actively involved in showing stud cattle and competing in both hoof and hook sections at local and interstate agricultural shows. 

Kate is currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Nursing at Southern Cross University and works across several roles, including at the Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange in Casino, at Clydesdale Motel & Steakhouse, and as an assistant nurse. 

In addition, she operates a small graphic design business creating logos and promotional material for cattle studs and agricultural businesses. 

Kate is proudly supported by the Clydesdale Motel & Steakhouse and Smiths Butchery.

Frewoini Baume is representing the Nguni breed this year at Casino Beef Week. 

She is proud to call the Northern Rivers home and has grown up deeply connected to rural life, community events, and agriculture across the region. She has been involved in beekeeping since the age of 10 and is a qualified beekeeper, having completed her Certificate III in Beekeeping through Tocal Agricultural College. 

Frewoini now works as a self-employed beekeeper and community engagement lead for Flow Hive, with experience contributing to research and industry development in Australia and overseas. 

She has also worked in cropping and with sheep and cattle on farms from Peak Hill to Bonalbo, further broadening her agricultural experience. She has been recognised for her contribution to agriculture and STEM, including receiving a regional ZONTA Women in STEM award.

Ambassadors 

Laura Lockwood is representing the Hereford breed this year at Casino Beef Week.

She has always enjoyed Beef Week and the strong sense of community it brings to Casino and the surrounding region.

Laura has spent many years visiting Casino and was inspired to enter the 2026 Beef Week Queen Program by her older sister after attending the Beef Week parade together in 2024.

She is looking forward to being involved in the program and experiencing an event that celebrates community spirit and regional life.

Camryn Anderson is representing the Senepol breed this year at Casino Beef Week. 

She is entering the program to challenge herself, improve her public speaking, and gain a deeper understanding of the beef industry, including its branding and social aspects.

Camryn has grown up in the beef industry and has been showing cattle since the age of 13, first through school and now with Lakeview Senepols. She also entered her own steer in last year’s Beef Week competition.

She is currently completing her high school studies, including agriculture and primary industries, and works weekends in the hospitality industry. Camryn is looking forward to the opportunities and experience the program provides.

Ella Boag is proudly representing the Brangus breed this year at Casino Beef Week. 

She is entering the 2026 Beef Week Ambassador Program for the third year in a row to learn new skills, meet new people, and continue supporting her local community.

She currently works for a disability support provider in both office and support roles and is currently studying Early Childhood Education. Ella is also an experienced singer and dancer.

Beef Week has always been an important part of her community, and she is really looking forward to being involved this year.

Sam McLennan is representing the Santa Gertrudis breed this year at Casino Beef Week. As a 2025 Ambassador, she found the program to be a rewarding experience that allowed her to build strong community connections and she is excited to be involved again.

Sam has played representative netball for Casino since the age of 11, works in the hospitality industry and is involved in cricket and other local sporting and community activities. 

She is the current Casino Teen Showgirl for 2025 and has spent much of her life volunteering across sport, show, and community groups.

Sam is looking forward to making many more connections within the Beef Week community this year. 

Claudia Whitney is representing the Simmentalbreed this year at Casino Beef Week. Living on a cattle farm, she has a strong passion for the beef industry.

Claudia is a student completing a school-based traineeship in the cattle industry, and is now in her second year. She is also a small business owner of Rough and Tough, creating handmade western accessories.

Claudia enjoys cattle handling and competing at local agricultural shows and is looking forward to becoming more involved in the community through the program.

Emerald Dean is representing the Fleckvieh breed this year at Casino Beef Week. She has grown up participating in Beef Week every year, attending with her family and participating in showing cattle.

She currently works part-time in the cattle industry. Emerald shows her own Limousin steers and runs a Simmental stud, while also exhibiting cattle for several other breeds.

Alongside cattle, she has a strong passion for horses and competes in campdrafts regularly. Emerald is looking forward to contributing to the event and being involved in Casino Beef Week.
