Seven agriculture processing businesses impacted by the February-March 2022 floods will get a leg up to re-establish and diversify their operations through a cash injection.
The federal and state governments’ Supply Chain Support Program offers support to processors including the replacement of damaged plant and machinery or transport assistance to keep business moving.
The seven businesses to receive funding through the program are:
Mountain Blue Farms – $1,952,393
Mara Global Foods – $250,000
Richmond Dairies – $220,000
Ballina Fishermen’s Cooperative Limited – $199,645
Manildra Harwood Sugars – $2,000,000
Hawkesbury River District Fishermen’s Cooperative Limited – $262,500
Golden Grove Naturals – $615, 571
