This morning, a b-double truck travelling east on Tooloom Rd at Urbenville crossed to the wrong side of the road, tipped over and slid into an embankment.
At 7am today, Monday, July 17, emergency services rushed to the rollover site and found people who were first on-scene giving care and reassuring the driver.
Crews from Fire and Rescue and the SES worked to free the driver – a 34-year-old man – who was trapped for several hours.
The man was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment to suspected leg injuries.
Woodenbong Rural Fire Brigade, Urbenville RFS, Urbenville SES, NSW Ambulance Service, Tenterfield Council, NSW Police and Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service all helped with the truck rollover.
Officers from Richmond Police District have begun inquiries into the crash.
