Just before 7am this morning, Monday, September 5, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew to a rural property on the outskirts of Bonalbo.

Local paramedics were already there treating a four year old boy who had a serious medical condition.

NSW Ambulance transported the boy to the Bonalbo Oval where the rescue helicopter had landed.

Because of the condition of the child, he was placed into a induced coma and flown direct to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.

The boy was in a serious but stable condition.
