Emergency crews including the Casino Rescue Squad rushed to a crash in Cascade Drive, Casino at 2.30pm today, Monday, October 2.
A car had crashed into a power pole and the driver was trapped.
Rescue crews quickly set up for a technical rescue and managed to free the teenage driver about 50 minutes after arriving on the scene.
Paramedics treated the teen for leg injuries. He was taken to Lismore Base Hospital.
Essential Energy crews isolated power to the area during the rescue.
