The Swifties are coming to a quiet country town. Are you ready for it, Kyogle?

Cinema owners Richard and Cheryl Harris are ready for the anticipated release of TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR film on October 13.

The film is expected to attract plenty of Swifties – the name given to fans of the singer Taylor Swift –  and Richard and Cheryl are ready for the rush.

Richard said he was confident that “like Barbie, people of all ages will come along dressed up ready for the experience of a lifetime and ready to be absorbed in the atmosphere of what’s going to be a huge global success”.

The film has not been advertised to play in Lismore or Ballina.

Kyogle Cinema has its own ticketing site to buy tickets for the film screening on October  13–15 and 19–22.

Mr Harris said the cinema had been booked out in past weeks with the Barbie film.

“Kyogle Cinemas is gearing up to be knocked off our feet again, this time by Taylor Swift,” Richard said.

Barbie saw the cinema sell out numerous times during what I call the Barbie Blitz, the phenomenon was a bit like the yoyo craze decades ago when everyone had to have one, except with Barbie it was everyone just had to see it, even if they didn’t like it.”

They have been overwhelmed with enquiries about the TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR film.

“We had to make the expensive decision to set up our own online booking system to cope with the volume of people and the requests to have allocated seating allowing our customers to choose the seat of their liking,” Richard said.

“We officially launched our online ticketing system on October 1 and I’m very excited about the number of tickets that have already been purchased.”

Book your ticket for TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR at one of 20 screenings at the cinema website www.kyoglecinemas.com.au
