Clocks go back as daylight saving ends

Before you go to bed tonight, turn your clocks back.

You may not have a clock you need to physically turn back as most phones and computers will automatically adjust to the change.

Daylight saving finishes on Sunday April 2 at 3am local time.

It returns on Sunday October 1.

The states that observe daylight saving are ACT, NSW, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria.

The Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia don’t observe daylight saving time.

So, if like me you have a battery operated clock in the kitchen, turn it back an hour before you go to bed tonight.

And tomorrow morning, make the most of the extra hour on your Sunday morning.
