Come dance with Sophie in Casino and at new classes in Kyogle

Sophie McAuliffe grew up in Lynchs Creek and had to travel to Casino for dance lessons.

As the owner and teacher at McAuliffe School of Dance in Casino, Sophie is thrilled to start running dance classes in Kyogle next month.

Sophie teaches ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop to students aged four and over and caters for all abilities.

The 35 year old started dancing when she was three and for 10 years she was a professional dancer. She danced on cruise ships and across China and Europe.

“I took up dancing to be more social,” Sophie said.

“I enjoy performing and it became a career. I’ve been lucky to perform and to teach.”

Sophie has many students in her Casino studio who travel from Kyogle and surrounds.

So, she will be running classes at Centre St in Casino and at the Anglican St James Church in Kyogle.

On October 6, Sophie will be hosting a free session 3.30–4.30pm in Kyogle.

It’s a chance to get to know me, Sophie said.
