COVID: 523 cases in Northern Rivers

There were 523 new covid cases reported in the Northern Rivers today.

The cases came from these LGAs:

Richmond Valley 55

Kyogle 8

Lismore 61

Clarence Valley 66

Ballina 97

Byron 55

Tweed 181

There are 33 covid patients in hospital in Northern NSW, with five of these in ICU

NSW had 11,807 new covid cases and 27 people died from covid overnight.

In NSW there are 2622 covid cases in hospital, including 170 people in intensive care, 72 of them require ventilation.
