COVID: 768 new cases in Northern Rivers, no LGA locations for RAT results

There were 768 positive covid test results reported in the Northern Rivers today.

This includes 354 positive PCR tests and 414 positive rapid antigen tests.

An LGA breakdown is not yet available for RAT results so the case locations below only represent PCR tests:

(Tenterfield is in a different Local Health District, but postcodes put cases in Northern NSW Local Health District).

There are 49 covid patients in hospital in Northern NSW, with five of these in ICU.

In NSW there were 18,512 positive tests: 9,090 results were from rapid antigen tests and 9,422 from PCR testing

Across the state there are 2,943 people with covid in hospital with 183 people in ICU.

Twenty-nine people died of covid overnight.
