COVID: 81 new cases in Northern Rivers including Richmond and Clarence Valleys

There were 81 new covid cases reported for the Northern Rivers today.

These LGAs recorded new cases:

• Byron 65
• Ballina 9
• Lismore 4
• Richmond Valley 1
• Tweed 1
• Clarence Valley 1 1

There are currently no covid-positive patients in hospital in Northern NSW.

No Omicron cases have yet been confirmed in the Northern Rivers.

NSW recorded 1,742 new cases of covid today.

There has been a total of 122 cases of covid with the Omicron variant reported across the state.
