The fire south of Evans Head continues to burn in a southerly direction today, Monday, October 2.
Firefighters from the Rural Fire Service and National Parks and Wildlife Service are working with aircraft to contain the fire and prepare control lines.
The Black Rocks camping ground remains closed.
People are advised to stay away from Bundjalung National Park area.
