Department to discuss concept plans for flooded school rebuild

An example of a modern, flexible classroom to be discussed for Broadwater School.

Broadwater Public School was hit hard by the floods last year.

The education department is rebuilding the school and has completed the masterplan.

The ‘new’ school will have modern and flexible learning environments.

There will be an information session for the school community to discuss concept plans at the Broadwater Community Centre on Thursday, August  17 at 5–6.30pm.

School Infrastructure NSW will keep the community up to date at each phase of the rebuild.

Broadwater School students have been learning in demountables at Evans River School in Evans Head.
