Kyogle Council has advised that there is a diesel spill from the start of Anzac Drive, turning into Afterlee Rd, that continues all the way to Slaters Rd, Horse Station Creek.
The spill was reported at about 10am today, Tuesday, May 19.
A council crew was out attending to the spill and have cleaned up the oil as much as possible .
The spill ran for a distance of about 6km – it appears that someone left the cap off their fuel tank.
Drivers should take note of signage and drive with caution.
