Australia Day at Bonalbo is always a bit different.

There’s the weighing of the cane toads, the throwing of the gumboots, a bit of golf putting and $100 prizes for the most Aussie costume.

There is an abundance of food made by the CWA.

And there is of course, the Australia Day Awards.

On a steaming hot day, the awards were announced in the cool of the air-conditioned Bonalbo Bowlo.

Here are the award winners.
