Funding to repair flood damaged showgrounds

Our water-logged showgrounds will benefit from funding to repair damage caused by the floods.

The State Government is providing $490,000 to repair and upgrade seven flood damaged showgrounds.

This includes Bonalbo, Casino, Kyogle, Lismore, Bangalow, Mullumbimby and Murwillumbah.

Bonalbo, Casino, Kyogle and Lismore will each receive $45,000 for flood repairs.

Minister for Emergency Services and Resilience and Minister for Flood Recovery Steph Cooke said the funding is part of targeted support by the NSW Government to help communities bounce back.

State MP Janelle Saffin welcomed the government’s investment.
