It’s looking pretty good for the weekend apart from a few showers.
There is still plenty of current offshore for boaties to deal with.
Snapper can be found on the 42-fathom line while pearl perch and kingfish are further out.
From the beaches, we’ve seen a few tailor in the late afternoon and early evening.
During the day, whiting, dart and flathead can be caught on the beaches.

Good numbers of flathead can be caught from the mouth of the river to Pimlico Island.
Good tides this weekend and early morning is especially good for chasing whiting.
The big tides will get the mud crabs moving around this weekend.
There’s been a few mahi mahi around the FAD but not in great numbers.
