Hazard reduction burn planned for national park

A hazard reduction burn is planned for tomorrow, Thursday, July 20 at Broadwater National Park.

The burn will take place along the motorway between Broadwater and Woodburn.

Smoke will be visible to residents of Evans Head, Broadwater, Rileys Hill and Woodburn.

The burn is expected to take two days.

Part of Broadwater National Park will be closed between the Old Mining trail, Perch trail and the Pacific Highway.
