How will you manage the predicted dry times ahead?

The North Coast Local Land Services team is offering information sessions on coping and managing the dry times on the land.

Speakers include Lisa Castleman on agronomy; Nathan Jennings on livestock; Lismore district vet Phillip Kemsley and Casino district vet Phillip Carter.

They will discuss pasture growth and pasture recovery, growing fodder versus buying in, early weaning or creep feeding calves, supplementary feeding, maintenance versus production, confinement feeding and the big decision of selling versus feeding.
