Photo: Coraki SES Unit Coraki SES Unit has reported changing conditions because of heavy rain. “We are seeing the saturated ground is resulting in localised flash flooding and water over roads in low points. “Coraki-Ellangowan Rd at Sandy Creek has water over it with paddocks flooded. “Water is building around Boggy Creek Rd and Bungy-Whiporie Rd is starting to see effects of rainfall from both creeks and run off. Faster flowing water along Bungy-Whip road from flash flooding. Longer stretches of shallow water over road further west (around Donaldson). With rain forecast for the week, the SES reminds residents to prepare for possible isolation especially residents with low-lying road access. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a hazardous surf warning for the east coast of NSW and a minor flood warning for Richmond River.
