The Bureau of Meteorology has said moderate rainfall over the Richmond River catchment during the weekend has caused some river level rises.
Minor flooding is possible along the Richmond River at Coraki and Bungawalbin early Monday morning.
A minor flood warning is current for the Wilsons River.
Richmond River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Richmond River at Coraki and Bungawabin.
The Richmond River at Coraki may reach the minor flood level (3.40 metres) early Monday morning. Further rises are possible.
The Richmond River at Bungawalbin may reach the minor flood level (3.00 metres) early Monday morning. Further rises are possible.
Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
- Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
- Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
- Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
- Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.
