A man aged 77 was seriously injured in a quad bike crash while mustering cattle near Urbenville last Saturday, September 30.
Urbenville SES members managed to get the man out to the road so the ambulance could treat him.
Paramedics treated him for injuries to his head and face.
He was taken to Urbenville and there the Westpac Rescue Helicopter’s medical team continued treatment.
The man was then flown to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
