A man was trapped in a truck after it rolled twice on Wardell Rd, near Marom Creek Rd today, Friday, November 4 at 11.45am.

The man in his 30s had leg fractures from the rollover.

NSW Ambulance inspector Gregory Powell said it was a complex rescue operation to help the man.

“The man was trapped in a truck after it had rolled twice, landing on the driver’s side,” Inspector Powell said.

Multiple emergency services worked together to free the patient and he was taken to Lismore Base Hospital by ambulance, he said.

“This man is extremely lucky to have avoided serious injury,” Inspector Powell said.
