One new covid case in Northern Rivers

One new covid  case was reported in the Northern Rivers today.

This case is in the Lismore LGA and is linked to an existing cluster and has been isolating throughout their infectious period.

There have now been 99 total cases reported in NNSWLHD since the Delta outbreak began in Sydney on June 16.

Anyone with even the slightest symptoms should get tested as soon as they feel unwell.

Today a new vaccination milestonewas reached in Northern NSW with the 70,000th covid vaccination being given.

NSW Local Health District acting chief executive Lynne Weir said NSW Health did not disclose details about venues unless there was a public health reason to do so.
