Story compiled from Casino Rescue Squad report
Casino Rescue Squad was called to assist a kitten trapped in the engine bay of a van in Casino at 6pm today, Monday, December 25.
When the rescue crew arrived, they searched the van and found a six week old kitten at the back tucked away in the rear suspension.
Crews managed to get the kitten free.
The kitten was uninjured and taken to the council pound and was collected by the owner.
It was a purrfect rescue, the rescue squad said.
