At 11.15pm on Saturday, April 15, the Mallanganee RFS brigade was called to a car crash on Clarence Way at Culmaran Creek.

When they arrived, they found a car on its roof in the table drain. The driver of the car was being treated by paramedics.

She was loaded into the ambulance and one of the RFS crew members was asked to assist the paramedic with the patient as they made their way to Lismore Base Hospital.

The ambulance met with a Casino ambulance on the highway just out of Mallanganee where the RFS member was relieved and the ambulance continued followed by NSW Police.
