A minibus and car collided on McDougall Street, Kyogle at 8.30pm yesterday, Friday, October 13.
Kyogle SES and Fire and Rescue crews rushed to assist the driver who was trapped in the car.
The passenger in the car was able to get out while crews extracted the driver.
The driver and passenger were treated for leg injuries and taken to Lismore Base Hospital.
SES members provided light at the scene until 3am this morning.
