Sporting clubs can apply for Local Sports Grants ranging from $2000 minimum to a maximum of $10,000.

Examples of projects includes come & try days, coach or referee accreditation courses, updating websites, equipment for training or playing sport, the upgrade or repair sports facilities and subsidised travel for junior teams.

Projects that benefit women and girls, people with disabilities, First Nations peoples and culturally and linguistically diverse communities are more likely to receive the State Government funding.

This funding no longer includes grants for defibrillator. A separate Local Sport Defibrillator Program will open later in the year.

Applications for Local Sports Grants close at 1pm on Monday, November 21. Go here to apply.
