Minor to moderate flooding is predicted for the Richmond and Wilsons rivers from Sunday, October 23.
The Bureau of Meteorology released an initial Flood Watch for both rivers today, Friday, October 21.
A low pressure system is forecast to develop near the northern NSW coast on Sunday and move south during Monday.
The pressure system is likely to bring moderate to heavy rain and this rainfall could cause minor to moderate flooding along the Tweed, Richmond and Wilsons Rivers from Sunday.
This prediction could change and BoM will update the flood watch.
In the meantime, prepare your property and home. Take care out there.
