When a family returned to their Coraki property, they found that their tinnie was gone.
Hilary McPherson made a plea on Facebook about the tinnie.
“Thanks for nothing to whoever pinched our tinnie, it was tied up in the river next to the house,” Hilary said.
The name Stuart McPherson was scratched into the metal of the tinnie.
Friend Lynn Denis said the family had already lost their home, cattle, sheds and furniture.
“This little tinnie saved them, they left in a small boat towing the tinny when their home went under,” Lyn said.
“Please keep an eye open for it, truly, they have already lost enough.”
