The Casino Truck Show is on this Saturday, August 5.
Parading and parking hundreds of big rigs in Casino’s CBD means several roads will be closed.
CBD road closures will take place between 5am–6pm. Roads include:
➡ Barker St – from the intersection of Centre St to Hickey St
➡ Walker St – from River St to Pratt St
➡ Canterbury St – east of Domino’s driveway to the west of Coles car park driveway
➡ Richmond St – from the intersection of Walker St to Graham Place
➡ Graham Place – from the intersection of Walker St to the Aldi car park driveway
The Casino Industrial Estate will open only to authorised personnel from 6am.
The parade starts at 10am along Johnston and Centre streets. Johnston St at Cassino Drive will have traffic control in place, stopping general traffic flow for up to 10 minutes to allow the parade to proceed.
Light traffic will not be allowed to turn onto Centre St from Johnston St and will be directed through detours. Centre St available for trucks and emergency services only.
The Wildlife Twins will be at the truck show in the Kids Zone in Canterbury St at 1pm and 2pm.
