Be Visible – We Count is the name of the rally at Woodburn Riverside Park at 10am this Saturday, July 8.

Rally organiser and Woodburn resident Beverley Rawson encourages people to bring a banner with the name of their town on it. Sporting groups can bring their banners too, she said.

Lismore resident Henry Luong will be at the rally.

“Sixteen months on, we are still stuck in a limbo and cannot dare to plan for our future – how could we when people are still sleeping in wall-less houses and camping in front of their inhabitable homes,” he said.

Beverley wants those impacted by floods to be seen at a time when many feel forgotten by authorities and governments.

The rally is all about being seen.

A drone will be launched to take photos.
