Where else would you get the biggest meat tray raffle in the world but in Casino – the home of Beef Week?
The raffle was a big hit at last year’s Beef Week and it’s back – bigger, better and meatier.
Smith’s Butchery is bringing 190kg of meat to the tray and Oatens is providing a new modern chest freezer to store all that meat.
Proceeds from the World’s Largest Meat Tray raffle support community organisations.
Beef Week president Brody Lisha said the World’s Largest Meat Tray raffle was becoming a tradition.
“It symbolises not only the strength and quality of our local agriculture but also the incredible community spirit that makes Casino such a special place,” Mr Lisha said.
Raffle tickets are available from today, Friday, March 1. The prize is valued at $6500.
The winning ticket will be drawn at 1 pm on Beef Week Saturday, May 25) during the 42nd Casino Beef Week.
