A building at Jubal near Tabulam was on fire at 7pm yesterday, Monday, August 14.
When Mallanganee Rural Fire Brigade crew arrived at Jubal, the building was engulfed in flames and most of it had collapsed.
The surrounding bush was also alight and Mallanganee crew worked with Tabulam RFS to attack the bushfire.
More support was called and Casino and North Casino brigades were dispatched even though they had been fighting fires all day.
An RFS member assisted a man at Jubal who had burns to both hands.
When paramedics arrived, they treated the man and took him to hospital.
By 10pm the fire was out and RFS units returned to their stations.
