The graves of those who served in military conflict are not forgotten in Evans Head.

Every year, before Anzac Day, a small group go to the cemetery to tidy the graves and put Lest we Forget ribbons on the headstones.

On Sunday, April 21, members of the Easyriders SMC Evans Head group were at Evans Head Cemetery cleaning 25 headstones.

Michelle Bird said they managed to find a couple of hours of sunshine between the rain to tidy up the grave sites.

It is a way to show respect to servicemen, Michelle said.

Here is a list of services on Anzac Day.
