Firefighters were called to a car on fire on the Mallanganee Range at 2.15pm today, Tuesday, April 16.
When the Mallanganee RFS arrived, the car was alight near the top traffic lights of the roadworks on the range.
Mummulgum and Tabulam RFS crews were called but Tabulam was called off while it was on the way
Firefighter Neville O’Malley thanked everyone involved for getting the fire out so quickly.
Mallanganee RFS has attended six car fires this year – two more than the same time last year.
