Stock agents have made their next move in the standoff with the Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange and Richmond Valley Council.
The Casino Auctioneers Association will hold a combined agents prime cattle sale at Lismore saleyards this Wednesday, July 12, at 7.30am.
No statement has been released by the Casino Auctioneers Association in response to fee and licence changes at the NRLX.
Association president Andrew Summerville has not responded to repeated requests from IndyNR.com to comment on the standoff between agents and the council.
There was no cattle sale at the NRLX this week on Wednesday, July 4 and none tomorrow, Friday, July 7.
The continuing standoff has the broader community concerned – with one resident writing a letter about it.
