The farmer and his dog are complete, and the artists are moving onto the platypus section of the mural on Casino’s water tower.

There are four sections to the mural being painted by The Brightsiders from Brisbane.

The mural work was made easier by Shayne Baker’s Earthmoving making pads for the cherry picker to stand on securely.

Artists Steve Falco and Jordan Bruce are up high on that cherry picker every day.

If the weather stays fine, the next section of the mural will be finished by next Thursday, October 20.

“We’re pushing to get it done,” Steve said.

The first section took a long time because of the rain.

“We can sink our teeth into it now,” he said.

The next section is a platypus – this is what it is expected to look like.

In between each section there is a transition that links each picture.

After the platypus, the final section is a swan.

“We’re loving the support we’re getting from everyone,” Steve said.
