Two cars crashed at the intersection of Johnston and Walker streets in Casino at about 6.20pm today, Sunday, October 16.
Police, paramedics, NSW Fire and Rescue and the Casino Rescue Squad were alerted and on arrival found one of the cars flipped onto its roof.
A woman was briefly trapped in the car. Once she was released, she was taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.
A second occupant of the same car was taken to Lismore Base Hospital as a precaution.
A third person in the second car was assessed by paramedics. The person refused transport.
