Robert Baglin’s grandfather Roy Baglin had a fascination with photography and shot many 8mm films including one in the 1960s of trains going through Casino.
The coal loader that burnt down in August can be clearly seen in the film below.
Roy was born in Shepparton, Victoria.
Robert’s mother is from Ruthven, south of Lismore. The family settled on a farm at Irvington before moving to west Casino in the early 1960s.
Roy would have visited the area to see his son and family in west Casino.
Enjoy Roy’s film.
