Ewingar rock concert rescheduled for September

The Ewingar Rising concert has been postponed until the second weekend in September.

One of the organisers Nadine Gaffney said they had been watching how the Blues Festival organisers were dealing with their covid risk management plan.

“We do not want an event that doesn’t allow dancing and mingling, as this is one of the great needs of our community to help rebuild social cohesion and bring back a sense of joy after the bushfires and the pandemic, “ Ms Gaffney said

“We need to dance.”

The team were finalising the new date with the artists and will confirm the line-up very soon.

“So far, all but one from the April line-up can make it,” Ms Gaffney said.

If you already have tickets, these will automatically roll over to the new dates unless you request a refund through Eventbrite. When the artists are confirmed, an email with instructions will be sent out.

For those yet to buy tickets, stay tuned and we will announce when tickets are on sale for the new dates, Ms Gaffney said.
