Kyogle mayor Danielle Mulholland has been re-elected councillor with more than 48% of the votes for C Ward.

The NSW Electoral Commission announced the official council results although there were no surprises on who got in based on the early voting percentages.

Ms Mulholland will have to wait until the first Kyogle Council meeting to find out if she is re-elected as mayor by her fellow councillors. And to see if anyone is running against her. So far Councillor Kylie Thomas has said she will be in the running for mayor.

The mayor and deputy mayor positions will be voted and decided upon on January 5.

John Burley is running for deputy again and Hayden Doolan hasn’t ruled out putting his hand up for the position.

Meet your Kyogle councillors:

A Ward: Janet Wilson, Hayden Doolan and Kylie Thomas

B Ward: John Burley, Maggie May and Rob Cullen

C Ward: Danielle Mulholland, Tom Cooper and James  Murray
